2014 Mayhem Syrah

This deep-purple, inky, full-bodied Syrah was barrel fermented and hand racked for twenty-four months in French oak barrels, 50% new with a medium toast. The dark, rich, and deliciously intense fruit embodies the richness and full-bodied nose of violets, cured maple bacon, black raspberry jam, espresso, clove spice with hints of graphite and dark chocolate on the lengthy, elegant finish that will leave you wanting more.

Mayhem Syrah is outstanding alone or as a companion for full-bodied cheeses, salmon, swordfish, roasted hen, turkey, grilled and smoked meats.
